Guess who’s been watching The Great British Bake Off all week?
We have!
I’m not sure how long it’s been on Netflix, but we just discovered it a few weeks ago. The worst thing is that we got the boys to love it also. The reason this is the worst thing, is because Mindy and I promised we wouldn’t watch any episodes without them and now we can’t binge watch the whole dang season.
Fortunately, we were able to find another season on YouTube.
I’m not going to bore you with the questionable legalities of watching a BBC show on YouTube, I’ll just say that we were able to do an entire season in less than an entire week.
And what did we do at the end of that week? We borrowed ‘The Great British Bake Off Cookbook’ of course!
I got to be the first person to bake using the cookbook, and I decided on this delightful Victoria Sandwich Cake. My son kept calling it the Victoria Secret Cake. I’m not sure how he even knows what Victoria’s Secret is, but between this dessert and overpriced lingerie, this takes the cake.
